Our pastor said something yesterday that has just been sticking with me. We were talking about keeping God first in our lives and taking Him everywhere. He is always there but sometimes we don't take Him. Our pastor told a story about him and a buddy going to this beautiful island and eating at this amazing
restaurant, and it was all great but it was not the same. This
environment was meant for him and his wife, not him and his college buddy.
This place was still beautiful but not as beautiful as it could be with his wife. If you don't take God along on your journey through life everything will not be as great as it should/could be.
Anyway, this is what our pastor said " In the land of milk and honey without God, the milk is sour and the honey is bitter"
I like that!
